Jen Brewerton, HCCP, COS

Jen Brewerton is the Vice President of Compliance for Lincoln Avenue Communities, a national developer with 40,000 units operating in 35 states, with a large footprint in Texas. Jen has been in the industry well over 25+ years. Ms. Brewerton has been and is responsible for determining and implementing all affordable program policy and procedures for all affordable programs under her purview. Prior to joining the world of for-profit development, Ms. Brewerton held a variety of influential positions in her field, including almost 10 years with Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) overseeing the Housing Tax Credit, Bond, HOME and Housing Trust Fund programs. After leaving TDHCA, Mr. Brewerton held senior positions at CohnReznick, Capstone Management, and Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation, a Project Based Section 8 Contract Administrator for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Ms. Brewerton received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and currently serves on the board of the Texas Association of Affordable Housing Providers and is Co-chair of the Compliance and Post-award Rules committee.
