Professional Bio
Lori is proud and humbled to have served as the President and CEO of NAHT’s team of mission driven professionals. She joined NAHT in 2002 and has worked with all areas of the services NAHT provides. Lori is committed to the difference impact capital can provide to the properties and residents of these communities. Under her direction, NAHT has expanded its partnership with Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) and its non-profit high impact development members to include the Low-Income Investment Fund (LIIF). These partnerships have resulted in over $1.5 billion in investments and more than 18,000 homes. With impact as the key focus, NAHT has also partnered with numerous foundations to further provide resident services and needed housing including MacArthur Foundation, Kresge Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Arnold Ventures. A native Texan, Lori graduated with a BA from Abilene Christian University and a law degree from Baylor School of Law. As a person of faith, she is deeply committed to lifting up those who need it most and serves on the boards of Volunteers of America – TX, RHF Foundation and Ohio Women’s Affordable Housing Network (OWAHN). She is also a member of the TAAHP Education Committee and the Fifth Third Bank’s Community Advisory Forum.
