San Antonio LAMA Breakfast | Advancing Affordable Housing Along the Green Line
TAAHP’s San Antonio Local and Municipal Affairs group invites San Antonio-area affordable housing professionals to join us for a morning of breakfast, networking, and an in‑depth panel discussion on development opportunities along VIA’s new Green Line transportation corridor. Researchers at the University of Texas at San Antonio have identified more than 7,000 acres of vacant or underutilized land near future transit routes—enough space to support housing for an estimated 600,000 new residents by 2050. Our panel of local experts will explore how these findings can translate into real projects, policy pathways, and new partnerships. This event is designed for affordable housing professionals seeking actionable insight into the city’s most promising areas for future development.
