Summer Social & Dallas LAMA Kickoff

We are excited to host our kickoff event for TAAHP’s Dallas-Fort Worth Local & Municipal Affairs (LAMA) group! Join us at this happy hour event for networking and a discussion of the goals for our new group.

LAMA is a new initiative from TAAHP to boost our local engagement and advocacy. By working together, we can ensure member interests are represented in cities and counties across the metroplex. Our group will focus on a wide range of issues, including:

• Reviewing and providing input on long-range development plans, neighborhood plans, charter reviews, and zoning matters.
• Resolutions of No Objection (RONOs), affordable housing policies, and general obligation bond packages for housing.
• Staying informed about legislative agendas, funding notices, and proposal requests.
• Organizing property tours for elected officials and stakeholders.
• Hosting panels, keynote speakers, and educational events.
• Facilitating networking through happy hours and meet-ups.
